WATERTOWN, S.D.—The Watertown Baseball Association (WBA) has officially opened the nomination period for the 2026 class of the Watertown Baseball Hall of Fame.

The WBA is asking the community to submit names of individuals deserving of the honor—including players, coaches, volunteers, and longtime supporters—who have significantly contributed to baseball in Watertown.

Nominations are open immediately and will be accepted through December 31, 2025.

Submitting a name is simple; a nomination Google form is available, with the link posted on the Watertown Post 17 Facebook page. The selection committee requires only the nominee’s name and basic identifying information to begin. Once nominated, individuals remain on the ballot for future consideration until they are inducted.

The formal induction ceremony for the 2026 class is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026, at 2nd Street Station. The celebration will continue the following day, Saturday, May 2nd, as the Watertown Arrows host Brandon Valley as part of Hall of Fame Weekend.
