WATERTOWN, S.D. — Deuel’s Brian Tvedt has been named the Area 1 Class A Cross Country Coach of the Year by the South Dakota Cross Country and Track and Field Coaches Association.
Tvedt’s squad this season placed three boys in the top 10 at the Region 1A meet and finished the season with a ninth-place showing at the State A meet.
Northwestern’s Kris Boekelheide was selected as Class B Coach of the Year while the Wildcats’ Derek Boekelheide was named Assistant Coach of the Year.
