WATERTOWN, S.D. – A 25-point third quarter helped Milbank pull away from Great Plains Lutheran in high school girls basketball Friday night: 55-18.
For the Bulldogs, Susie Schuneman led all scorers with 17 points, Anna Neugebauer chipped in 12, Avery Schuneman had nine, and Belle Pauli added eight.
Kate Holmen and Katherine Prahl led GPL with five points each, while Emily Moritz added four.
Milbank starts the year (1-0) and hosts Dell Rapids on Dec. 13. Great Plains Lutheran begins (0-1) and travels to Sisseton on Dec. 9.
