HENDRICKS, MN – The Deuel Cardinals topped the Estelline/Hendricks Redhawks 134.75-132.8 in South Dakota high school gymnastics action Monday night.
For Estelline/Hendricks, Maggie Hausman was tops in the all-around (35.7), beam (8.9), and bars (8.45). Hausman took home second on the floor (9.35). Riah Hartung led the way on the vault (9.25), placed second in the all-around (35.3), and finished third on the floor (9.35).
For Deuel, Tai Engels placed first on the floor (9.4), second on the vault (9.1), and third in the all-around (34.35). Hannah Cutshaw placed second on the beam (8.9) and fourth in the all-around (33.35).
Next on the schedule for Deuel is the Britton-Hecla Invitational on December 16. Estelline/Hendricks will host a home meet against Brookings on December 15.
