Four Arrows Claim Titles at Farrand Boys Invitational

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Four Watertown Arrows stood atop the podium Tuesday at the 2025 Floyd Farrand Boys Wrestling Invitational at Sioux Falls Lincoln High School. As a team, Watertown placed second with a score of 224.0.

Braylon Schell took home the top prize at 106 pounds with a win by fall over Macyn Gardner of Bishop O’Gorman. At 132, Shea Richter won by technical fall over Wyatt Davidson of Harrisburg. Kutler Swenson won by fall over Josiah Kauffman of Sioux Falls Lincoln at 138, and Markus Pitkin won by major decision over Thayne Tjeerdsma of Wagner at 165.

Other Arrows who placed included Cade Kuemper, who won by decision over Wyatt Kleinschmidt of Sioux Falls Lincoln to take third at 190. Jonah Anderson placed fourth at 113 after falling to Isaac Weehein of Brandon Valley in the third-place match.

Max Stroup won by major decision over Jacob Milliron of Brookings to take fifth place at 113. Also taking fifth was Keslar Swenson, who won by technical fall over Ty Delbridge of Brookings at 150. Owen Petersen took fifth at 157, winning by technical fall over Maddox Knappe of Sioux Falls Lincoln.

Landen Lewis placed seventh at 175 after a medical forfeit. Conner Christianson won by fall over Parker Muth of Sioux Falls Washington to take seventh at 285. Landry Weiss placed eighth at 113 after falling to Colby Even of Vermillion in the seventh-place match.

Watertown next competes in the Bismarck Rotary Tournament on Jan. 9-10.
