HARRISBURG, S.D. — Watertown took home a second-place finish at the Harrisburg Girls Wrestling Tournament on Friday with a score of 163.5. Aberdeen Central was the top team with a score of 201.
Four Arrows reached the top of the podium, including Brooklynn Randall (115 pounds), who won by fall over Alexis Bryant of McCook Central/Montrose. Allison Konrad won by fall over Hope Kemnitz of Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon in the 190-pound division. Eden Hach won by fall over Claire Campbell of Parker in the 235. Olivia Anderson won by medical forfeit in the 120.
Other top finishers for Watertown included Brooke Grajczyk, who fell to Kezrey Benning of Pierre in the 140-pound first-place match. Nevaeh Schanbeck won by decision over Macie Letsche of Sioux Falls Jefferson to place third in the 170. Vanessa Anderson fell to Shaylee Arredondo of Brandon Valley to place fourth in the 105.
Watertown girls wrestling heads to the Jerry Opbroek Tournament in Mitchell today, Jan. 17.
