WATERTOWN, SD – Watertown swept all events and landed the top team score at their home quad Tuesday. The Arrows amassed a team score of 145.8. Britton-Hecla followed behind with a 132.25, O’Gorman came in third with a 129.95 and Aberdeen Central rounded out the scoring with a 127.25.
Macy Olsen took home the gold for the Arrows in the all around (37.0), vault (9.25), and tied for first on the bars (8.8), and came in second on the beam (9.5) and floor (9.8). Shauna Evenson had the top score on the floor (9.8), and beam (9.7), and placed second in the all around (36.2).
Other top five scores for Watertown include Elly Dingsor who tied with Olsen for the top score on the bars (8.8). Kiera Schultz placed third in the all around (35.1), bars (8.75) and beam (9.2). Ashlynn Andrews took home fourth on the vault (9.05), fifth in the all around (34.45) and bars (8.05). Emery Gaikowski placed fourth on the bars (8.65). Lyric Diedrich placed third on the floor (9.15).
Next up for Arrow gymnastics is the Lolly Forseth Invitational at Sioux Falls Jan. 24.
