WATERTOWN, S.D. — Watertown boys and girls wrestlers earned a split at a home triangular Thursday night at the Watertown Civic Arena.
On the boys side, Aberdeen Central escaped with a 33-32 win over the Arrows. Braylon Schell (106), Brody Randall (126), Shea Richter (132), Keslar Swenson (144), Gage Lohr (157), and Conner Christianson (285) were all victorious for Watertown.
The Arrow girls also fell to Aberdeen Central, 48-32. Vanessa Anderson (105), Brooklyn Randall (115), Olivia Anderson (120), Brooke Grajczyk (140), Allison Konrad (190), and Eden Hatch (235) won their matches for Watertown.
The Arrow boys ended the night with a 50-20 dual victory over Harrisburg. Schell, Jonah Anderson (113), Chase Mathews (120), Randall, Richter, Swenson, Lohr, Markus Pitkin (165), Cade Kuemper (190), and Christianson all saw their arms raised.
The Arrow girls also bested Harrisburg in dual action, 48-18. Lily Lindsey (100), Anderson, Randall, Olivia Anderson (120), Grajczyk, Nevaeh Schanbeck (170), Konrad, and Hatch were victorious.
Watertown travels to the Lee Wolf Invitational in Aberdeen on Jan. 31.
