Five Shamrocks Named to NAHL’s 2026 Top Prospects Tournament

WATERTOWN, S.D. — Five members of the Watertown Shamrocks have been selected to compete in the 2026 North American Hockey League Top Prospects Tournament, the league announced today.

Forwards Zach Boren, Joe Rice, and defenseman Jordan Gudridge will play for Team Central. Forward Justin Bartley and goaltender Mason Gudridge were named to Team Selects White. This marks the first selection for all five players.

Player Highlights
Zach Boren: The team’s leading scorer with 19 goals and 35 points this season.

Jordan Gudridge: A first-year Shamrock with 17 points in 29 games.

Joe Rice: An age-out forward with 20 points through 32 games.

Justin Bartley: A defenseman with a career-best 14 assists in 34 games.

Mason Gudridge: Boasts a 10-3-0-1 record in his last 14 starts with a .937 save percentage.

The tournament features two categories: Divisional teams, reserved for uncommitted 2005-born skaters, and Selects teams, open to uncommitted players of any birth year. The Selects teams will compete alongside the USA Hockey National Team Development Program U17 squad.

The event will be held Feb. 16-17 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

Game 1: Central vs. East at 5:00 PM on Monday, February 16th
Game 2: Central vs. South at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17th

Team Selects White
Game 1: Selects White vs. USNTDP at 7:15 PM on Monday, February 16th
Game 2: Selects White vs. Selects Red at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, February 17th
