CLEAR LAKE, S.D. – Estelline/Hendricks claimed the top spot at the 2026 Deuel Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday, finishing with a team score of 140. The host Cardinals placed fifth with a 131.2.
The Redhawks’ Maggie Hausman won the all-around title with a score of 37.2. Teammate Riah Hartung followed in second with a 35.6, while Deuel’s Hanna Cutshaw took fourth with a 35.15.
Hausman placed first on the bars (9.25), tied for second on the floor (9.45), took third on the vault (9.2), and tied for fourth on the beam (9.3). Hartung won the floor exercise (9.5), took second on the vault (9.25), and tied with Cutshaw for third on the beam (9.45). Cutshaw also placed fourth on the bars (7.95) and fifth on the vault (8.95).
Deuel’s Tai Engels placed second on the bars (8.65), and Jaylee Berwald of Estelline/Hendricks posted the top score on the beam (9.55).
Both Estelline/Hendricks and Deuel will compete next at the Region 1A state qualifier in Britton on Feb. 5.
