HENDRICKS, Minn. – Estelline/Hendricks defeated Yankton 143.35-134.75 in a high school gymnastics dual Monday night.
Riah Hartung took home the top prize for the Redhawks in the all-around with a score of 37.25. Maggie Hausman followed in second with a 37.1. Emi Hartung placed third, scoring 34.2.
Riah Hartung swept the vault (9.35) and beam (9.7), tied for first on the floor (9.7), and placed second on the bars (8.5).
Hausman placed first on the bars (8.8), tied with Riah Hartung for first on the floor (9.7), tied for second in the vault (9.1), and took second on the beam (9.5).
Other top-five scores for the Redhawks included Jaylee Berwald placing third on the bars (8.3) and beam (8.95). Emi Hartung placed fourth on the beam (8.75) and fifth on the bars (8.05).
Next for Estelline/Hendricks is the Region 1A state qualifier in Britton on Feb. 5.
