WATERTOWN, S.D. — Sioux Falls East held Watertown to just 12 shots in a 7-1 win over the Lakers Friday night during Stick It to Cancer Weekend at Prairie Lakes Ice Arena.
Watertown’s lone goal came in the first period when Kolten Sutten scored on a power play, assisted by Colton Kasuske and Jack Elshere. East took control in the second with two goals before pulling away with a five-goal third period.
Ryan Fenton earned a hat trick for Sioux Falls, while Thatcher May and Hayden Hansen added two goals each. Sioux Falls outshot Watertown 47-12.
Watertown faces Brookings at home at 8 p.m. Saturday. The Laker girls also face Brookings at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
