YANKTON, S.D. – The Watertown boys wrestling team racked up 193.5 points to secure a second-place finish at the 2026 Yankton Invitational. Pierre took home the team championship with a score of 247.
Three Arrows reached the top of the podium: Brody Randall, Shea Richter and Gage Lohr. Randall won by fall over Will Norman of O’Gorman in the 126-pound championship match. Richter won by major decision over Brody Gossen of West Central at 132 pounds, while Lohr secured a major decision over Keanu Lee of O’Gorman for the top spot at 157.
Other Arrows to place included Jonah Anderson (second, 113), Chase Mathews (third, 120), Tanner Urdahl (sixth, 120), Max Stroup (sixth, 144), Keslar Swenson (fourth, 150), Markus Pitkin (fourth, 165) and Cade Kuemper (third, 190).
Next up for Watertown is the State Duals Meet on Feb. 13 in Pierre.
