PIERRE, S.D. – The SDHSAA has announced the pairings for the Class A and Class B State Dual Championships.
With an 18-0 record, defending champion Sturgis Brown is the top seed in Class A. Watertown earned the No. 4 seed with an 11-2 record. The Arrows will face No. 5 seed Pierre in the opening round Friday. Watertown fell to Harrisburg 40-29 in the consolation semifinals last year.
In Class B, Winner is the top seed with a 9-1 record. Kingsbury County is the No. 5 seed with a 9-1 record and will face 12-0 Bon Homme/Avon in the opening round Saturday. The Knights took sixth place last year after falling to Parkston 45-29.
The 2026 SDHSAA State Dual Championships are Feb. 13 (Class A) and Feb. 14 (Class B) in Pierre. SDPB will provide live streams at SDPB.org/Wrestling and on YouTube.
