Adams, Neale and Osthus Named to the WBA Hall of Fame

WATERTOWN, S.D. — The Watertown Baseball Association has selected Jason Adams, Tanner Neale and Grant Osthus as the 2026 class of the Watertown Baseball Hall of Fame.

Jason “Goon” Adams (1995–1997)
A dominant 6-foot-6 left-handed pitcher, Adams ranks fourth all-time in Post 17 history with 264 career strikeouts. During his senior season, he set a program record with 105 innings pitched and earned all-state honors while leading Watertown to a state runner-up finish. Adams went on to pitch for Southwest Minnesota State University, where he ranks ninth all-time in career ERA (3.67).

Tanner Neale (2009–2011)
Regarded as one of the program’s finest defensive catchers, Neale finished his Post 17 career with a .978 fielding percentage and caught 43% of opposing baserunners. At SMSU, he set a school record with a career .997 fielding percentage before playing professionally for the Kansas City T-Bones. He currently serves as an assistant coach for North Dakota State University.

Grant Osthus (1992–1994)
A dynamic two-way player, Osthus combined a .350 career batting average with an 18–8 record on the mound. His 1994 all-state senior season was one of the best in program history, featuring a 9–1 pitching record—the second-best single-season mark for Watertown—and 40 RBIs at the plate.

Event Information
The induction ceremony is scheduled for May 1 at 2nd Street Station. The celebration continues May 2 when the inductees throw the ceremonial first pitch during a home doubleheader against Brandon Valley starting at 1 p.m.
