MITCHELL, S.D. – Estelline/Hendricks’ Maggie Hausman captured the all-around championship Saturday during the individual competition of the 2026 Class A State Gymnastics Meet.
The freshman totaled a 37.9001 in the all-around to claim the title. Hausman earned top scores on the bars (9.3667) and floor (9.75) while also taking second on the vault (9.4667) and third on the beam (9.3167).
Redhawks teammate Riah Hartung took third in the all-around with a score of 36.9334. The eighth grader recorded the top score on the beam (9.55), second on the floor (9.6167), third on the vault (9.3167), and an 8.45 on the bars.
Other top-10 individual finishers for Estelline/Hendricks included Jaylee Berwald, who placed 10th in the all-around with a 34.7167 and ninth on the bars (8.4). Emi Hartung placed seventh on the beam with an 8.8833.
Deuel also placed three gymnasts in the top 10 of the all-around. Tia Engels placed sixth with a 35.35, followed by Hannah Cutshaw in seventh with a 35.0166 and Laycee Andersen in eighth with a 35.0166.
Engels, a junior, placed fourth on the bars (8.85) and floor (9.2167), and sixth on the vault (9.0). Cutshaw, also a junior, placed fifth on the bars (8.85) and seventh on the floor (9.133). Andersen, a senior, finished sixth on the beam (9.0333) and floor (9.15).
Other top-10 individual scores for the Cardinals included Adysyn Wiesner, who placed fourth on the vault (9.1667) in her senior campaign, and Brooklyn Tanner, who placed 10th on both the vault (8.8167) and beam (8.8167).
