WATERTOWN, S.D. — The Watertown Arrow baseball team is set to open its season next week, kicking off a packed 2026 schedule that spans both the high school and American Legion ranks.
The high school season officially runs from April 11 through the state tournament, which will be held May 22-23 in Sioux Falls. The Arrows are scheduled for six home games this spring. A season highlight includes Hall of Fame Weekend on May 2-3, featuring matchups against Brandon Valley and Yankton. Both games are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. starts.
The South Dakota American Legion season begins May 27 with a home opener against Aberdeen. Watertown’s Post 17 will host nine nights of home action, including Bobby Gasper Night on May 28 against Huron and Senior Night on July 14 against Brookings.
The Legion post-season begins with super regionals July 22-23, followed by the Class A State Tournament in Rapid City from July 28 to Aug. 1.
Fans unable to attend in person can follow the action on Post 17 TV. The outlet will broadcast 16 nights of baseball on YouTube. Brent Nathaniel returns for his eighth season providing play-by-play coverage.
