Kalis Posts 27-Save Shutout in Norsemen Win Over Watertown

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Izaak Kalis stopped all 27 shots he faced to lead the St. Cloud Norsemen to a 2-0 victory over the Watertown Shamrocks on Thursday night in North American Hockey League action.

Watertown took the loss despite outshooting St. Cloud 33-27. The Norsemen opened the scoring in the second period with a power-play goal from Riley Fast. Christian Garrity added an insurance goal on an empty net with 26 seconds remaining in the third.

Watertown (29-21-3-2) travels to Forest Lake, Minnesota, to face the Minnesota Mallards on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
