WATERTOWN, SD — The Watertown Arrow girls and boys basketball seasons will get underway this Friday night with a doubleheader road contest at Brookings.
Team Outlook
The Arrow boys will look to improve upon a 6-14 season that saw the squad miss the Sodak 16. The 2025-2026 team will be led by four seniors: Carter Buisker, Kaden Decker, Ashton Rabine, and Jackson McClemans. The roster will also feature a junior-heavy class, including Landon Struckman, Max Martenson, Jack Mack, Dane Stark, and Isaac Rehorst.
The girls’ team aims to bounce back from a 7-14 record last year, which ended in an exit from the Sodak 16 at the hands of Brandon Valley. This year’s team returns four senior leaders: Malia Kranz, Ellie Thury, Leyla Meester and Kynsee Russell. The roster will be bolstered by a strong junior class, which features key contributors like Gabi Olson, Andi Olson, Lily Mack, Jordan Remmers, Kali Ellis and Riley Hennen.
