SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Brackets are set for the 2026 SDAHA Boys State Varsity Hockey Tournament.
Watertown earned the No. 8 seed and will open against top-seeded Rushmore at 7:30 p.m. March 12. The Lakers are 0-2 against the Thunder this season, having lost 12-0 on Feb. 21 and 22 at home.
Other opening-round games include No. 6 Oahe facing No. 3 Yankton at noon to kick off the tournament. No. 2 Sioux Falls East will take on No. 7 Aberdeen at 2:30 p.m., followed by No. 4 Sioux Falls West against No. 5 Brookings at 5 p.m.
The tournament runs March 12-14 in Sioux Falls.
