Gaikowski, Roehrich Lead Clark/Willow Lake to LCC Team Title

HAYTI, S.D. — Clark/Willow Lake swept the team titles at the Lake Central Conference golf tournament on Monday, securing top honors in both the boys and girls divisions.

The Cyclone boys finished with a collective score of 251 to lead the field. Hamlin followed in second place at 265, while De Smet took third with 266. Castlewood and Flandreau rounded out the top five with scores of 288 and 292, respectively.

Cade Gaikowski of Clark/Willow Lake earned the boys individual medalist honors by shooting an 80. Aiden Abraham of Hamlin finished one stroke back in second place with an 81, and Wyatt Schlagel of Clark/Willow Lake placed third with a round of 85.

In the girls division, Clark/Willow Lake posted a team score of 262 to claim the championship. Sioux Valley finished as the runner-up with a 290, followed by De Smet at 311, Deuel at 317 and Hamlin at 388.

Brynn Roehrich captured the girls individual title for the Cyclones, carding a 76 to finish eight shots ahead of teammate and runner-up Faith Roehrich. Kinsley Ronne of Deuel placed third with a score of 94.
