YANKTON, S.D. — The Watertown girls golf team secured a sixth-place finish Friday at the Yankton Invitational, finishing with a collective team score of 395.
O’Gorman claimed the team title, posting a dominant score of 340 to lead the field. Aberdeen Central’s Olivia Braun took home individual honors, finishing as the tournament champion with an impressive round of 73.
Gabi Olson paced the Arrows, finishing in seventh place individually with a score of 83. Emma Olson followed for Watertown with a 94.
Other contributors to the Watertown team score included Macie Stein (108) and Kreu Johnson (110). Ava Fiebelkorn and Liv Sherman both finished the day with rounds of 114.
