BROOKINGS, S.D. — Hamlin’s Aiden Abraham and Clark/Willow Lake’s Brynn Roehrich captured individual championships Tuesday at the Class B State Golf Meets.
Roehrich carded a two-day total of 141 to secure her third consecutive state title. In the boys’ division, Abraham finished with a 146 to claim the top spot.
Clark/Willow Lake also earned the girls’ team championship, posting a cumulative score of 481. Bon Homme won the boys’ team title with a 472, finishing just ahead of third-place Clark/Willow Lake, which posted a 480.
Several other local competitors secured top 15 finishes. In the girls’ division, Faith Roehrich of Clark/Willow Lake placed sixth with a two-day score of 160. On the boys’ side, Atticus Eyjolfson of Estelline/Hendricks finished in a tie for 11th place with a 154.
