CLARK, S.D. — Watson Grantham recorded all 21 outs and struck out 13 batters in a complete-game performance to lead Clark/Willow Lake to a 3-1 victory over Redfield in American Legion baseball action Friday.
Grantham allowed just one run and scattered three hits over his seven innings of work.
The Dinosaurs tallied 10 hits, led by Damian Severson, who went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Grantham and Jakob Steen each contributed two hits to the offense.
Aiden Frankenstein, Jackson Rude and Logan LaBrie each singled for Redfield. Jet Kleinsasser drove in the team’s lone run but took the loss on the mound, allowing three runs on 10 hits while striking out five in six innings.
Clark/Willow Lake (8-2) hosts Mt. Vernon/Plankinton on Tuesday.
