ABERDEEN, S.D. — Severe weather delayed the start by 90 minutes, but the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Tour still got underway at Moccasin Creek Country Club, where multiple local players delivered strong rounds.
Kaiden Weinrels of Doland captured the Boys 16–18 division title, shooting a 2-over-par 74. In the Girls 16–18 division, Ava Crooks of Astoria claimed the top spot with an 89.
Aberdeen’s Hayden Liebl won the Boys 14–15 division with an 80. Watertown was well-represented in the division, led by Greyson Zebroski, who placed third with an 83. Jackson Ahmann, also of Watertown, took sixth place with a 92, while Logan Borns of Clark finished eighth with a 93.
Ava Bain of Sioux Falls carded a 91 to take the Girls 14–15 title.
In the 18-hole Boys 12–13 division, Rigley Kulesa of Pierre claimed victory with an 81. Watertown’s Hudson Dunsmoor placed 14th with a 107.
In the 9-hole divisions, Cole Neal of Aberdeen won the Boys 12–13 title with a 45. Aubree DeVine of Aberdeen took the Girls 12–13 title with a 55, followed closely by Paisley Neale of Watertown, who finished second with a 65.
Luke Snyder of Aberdeen won the Boys 10–11 division with a 41, and Zoey Zeigler of Winner secured the Girls 10–11 title with a 47. In the Boys 9 and Under division, Charles Darling of Aberdeen finished first with a 37.
