ABERDEEN, S.D. — Several Watertown athletes secured top finishes Tuesday at the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Tour stop at Lee Park Golf Course.
Paisley Neale led the local contingent, capturing the 12-13 girls’ 9-hole division title after carding a 50.
In the 14-15 boys’ division, Watertown golfers claimed three consecutive spots in the top five. Jackson Ahmann led the group with a third-place finish, carding an 81. Greyson Zebroski followed in fourth place with an 83, and Riley Randell took fifth with an 84. Hayden Liebl of Aberdeen won the division with a 74, while Logan Borns of Clark finished 11th with a 90.
Madden Stein added another top-five performance for Watertown, placing fourth in the 12-13 boys’ 18-hole division with an 88. Braylen Liebl of Aberdeen won the division with an 83.
In the eldest bracket, Easton Schelhaas of Yankton won the 16-18 boys’ title with a 3-over-par 74. Aberdeen’s Ellis Johnson took the 16-18 girls’ title with an 86, narrowly edging out Sage Gaikowski of Waubay, who placed second with an 87.
Other division winners Tuesday included Jayde McQuirk of Oacoma, who shot a 97 to win the 14-15 girls’ title, and Blain McGillvray of Whitewood, who carded a 46 to win the 12-13 boys’ 9-hole division.
In the younger age brackets, Brantley Wiest of Mobridge shot a 46 to win the 10-11 boys’ division, and Zoey Zeigler of Winner took home the 10-11 girls’ title with a 43. Lowen Kulesa of Pierre won the 9-and-under boys’ bracket with a 38.
