CASTLEWOOD, S.D. — Kaden Nedved tossed a complete-game shutout and struck out 11 batters to lead Castlewood to a 7-0 victory over Clear Lake in American Legion baseball action Friday.
Nedved dominant performance on the mound was backed by a nine-hit Castlewood attack. Trevor Evrerson led the way, going 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI. Nedved and Davis Gales each added two hits to pace the offense.
Gray Holden took the loss for Clear Lake, allowing seven runs on nine hits over six innings while striking out six.
