REDFIELD, S.D. — Jet Kleinsasser pitched a shutout Tuesday, leading Redfield to a 6-0 victory over Lake Norden/Badger in American Legion baseball action.
Kleinsasser dominated on the mound, striking out 10 batters and scattering three hits over a complete-game performance.
Redfield’s offense backed up the strong pitching with a balanced attack. Tate Bray, Micah Zastrow, Aiden Frankenstein, Tate Neuharth, and Kleinsasser each recorded a hit in the win.
For Lake Norden/Badger, Emmett Aho, Teague Stevenson, and Joes Mahe each collected a hit. Stevenson pitched a complete six innings, allowing six runs on five hits while striking out six.
Lake Norden/Badger (2-9) returns home to face Webster on July 9.
