RAPID CITY, S.D. — Watertown’s Duane Broek captured the 2026 Men’s Masters Championship with a match play victory on Sunday at the South Dakota Golf Association Senior Match Play Championships at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Broek closed out runner-up Chuck Eide of Sioux Falls after 15 holes, finishing 4-up. Broek took control of the final match by winning seven holes — Nos. 2, 4, 7, 10, 11, 13, and 15 — during the conclusion of the three-day tournament held July 17–19.
Watertown’s Jason Pieper also staged a run in the Men’s Senior Championship division, reaching the semifinal round. Pieper held a 1-up lead late in his match before eventual Men’s Senior Champion Steve Beardsley of Rapid City took control on holes 13 through 16 to build a 3-up advantage and close out the victory.
Rapid City golfers swept the women’s individual divisions. Marna Raburn won the Women’s Senior Championship, while Heidi Linngren claimed top honors in the Women’s Silver Senior Championship.
