CASTLEWOOD, S.D. — Memorial Park is set to play host to the 2026 District 1B Amateur Baseball Tournament, with action kicking off Saturday, July 25.
Volga earned the tournament’s top seed and a first-round bye in the double-elimination bracket, which runs through July 30.
Opening-day play begins at 2 p.m. Saturday when second-seeded Castlewood takes on No. 7 Ramona. The action continues at 4:30 p.m. as No. 3 Milbank faces No. 6 Clark. Saturday’s nightcap is scheduled for 7 p.m., featuring a matchup between No. 4 Lake Norden and No. 5 Elkton.
At stake is a trip to the Class B State Tournament, scheduled for Aug. 5–16 at Cadwell Park in Mitchell. District 1B will send three representatives to the state stage: the tournament champion, the runner-up, and a third-place finisher.
