HAWARDEN, Iowa — Seven members of the Watertown Rebels have been selected to suit up for the Empire All-Stars in the upcoming Southern Plains Football League All-Star Game this weekend.

Representing the Rebels on offense are running back Jaquille Jackson (No. 4), wide receiver Justin Ratigan (No. 19), and offensive lineman Clyde Bryant (No. 44).

The defensive unit and special teams feature linebacker/safety Jaylon Sibley (No. 6), linebacker Dakota King (No. 55), defensive end Andrew McLean (No. 66), and linebacker/kick returner Dylan Haney (No. 26).

The SPFL All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at West Sioux High School in Hawarden, Iowa. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.

“It means a lot to show that our organization is putting good football players on the field,” Rebels owner Chris Renmoe said. “These guys work hard to play the game they love, and that dedication is recognized by their teammates.”

Renmoe added that the players represented the values the Rebels have emphasized since the organization began.

“They represent Rebels football,” he said. “‘Hit, heart and hustle’ was our motto for many years when this first started. We hope to provide an opportunity for players who respect the game and want to continue their love for it.”

The Watertown Rebels are a semi-professional football team based in Watertown, South Dakota. The 2026 season marked their 10th season competing in the Southern Plains Football League.

The Rebel roster selections come after Watertown wrapped up its 2026 season with a 4-4 record, following a first-round playoff loss to Northwest Iowa.
