MITCHELL, S.D. — Brackets are officially set for the 94th annual South Dakota Amateur Baseball Association Class B State Tournament, bringing local teams to Cadwell Park for nearly two weeks of postseason action.
The tournament runs Aug. 5–16 in Mitchell, featuring three local teams.
The Lake Norden Lakers will open the first round on Thursday, Aug. 6, when they face off against the Wynot Expos at 5:30 p.m.
On Friday, Aug. 7, the Clark Traders take the field to clash with the Wessington Springs Owls, also slated for a 5:30 p.m. first pitch.
Rounding out the local opening-round matchups, the Castlewood Ravens will challenge the Canova Gang on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 5:30 p.m.
