WATERTOWN, S.D. — The Watertown boys and girls soccer teams earned a pair of home victories Tuesday against Brandon Valley at Allen Mitchell Field.
The Watertown boys shut out the Lynx 5-0, led by two goals each from Luke McLaughlin and Roger Carranza. Xane Fligge added a goal, while goalkeeper Owen Muller made two saves to preserve the clean sheet.
In the girls match, Watertown defeated Brandon Valley 4-1. Individual statistics were not reported.
With the wins, the Watertown boys improved to 3-0 on the season, while the girls moved to 2-1. Both teams travel to Pierre for a doubleheader Thursday.
