WATERTOWN, S.D. — Watertown opened its home schedule with a 3-1 victory over Sioux Falls Jefferson at the Civic Arena, winning set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 18-25, 25-18.
Torrence Tipton led the Watertown offense with 11 kills, while Jaelyn Kettwig directed the attack with 27 assists. Reese Munger added eight kills along with three solo blocks and two block assists. Carighan Klatt recorded six kills and 11 digs.
Andi Olson paced Watertown’s defense with a team-high 21 digs to go along with four service aces. Hensley Hogue tallied 16 digs, and Maryn York added two aces.
At the net, Cambrie Klatt contributed four solo blocks and three block assists.
Watertown (2-0) returns to action Saturday when it travels to participate in the Huron Tournament.
