ABERDEEN, S.D. — Max Stemwedel shot a 1-under-par 70 to finish fourth individually, leading Watertown to a fourth-place team finish Tuesday at the Hub City Invite at Lee Park Golf Course.
Watertown posted a combined score of 298. Stemwedel opened strong with a 34 on the front nine before closing with a 36 on the back nine.
Sioux Falls Lincoln captured the team championship with a total score of 294. Aberdeen Roncalli’s Harper Schnabel took home the individual title after firing a 3-under 68.
Colton Kasuske turned in a 74 for Watertown, while Jonathan Lake added a 75. Gavin Neyens shot a 79, Greyson Zebroski carded an 80 and Brecken Jungen finished with a 93 to round out the Watertown lineup.
Watertown returns to action Friday at the Hillcrest Golf and Country Club in Yankton.
