WATERTOWN, S.D. — Watertown Arrow volleyball swept rival Brookings in straight sets Thursday night at the Civic Arena, taking the match 25-21, 25-15, 25-19.
Carighan Klatt led the attack for the Arrows with 17 kills, followed closely by Torrence Tipton with 14 kills. Setter Jaelyn Kettwig directed the offense with 39 assists on the night. Maryn York contributed from the service line with two aces.
Defensively, Reese Munger anchored the net with three total blocks, including two assisted blocks. Kali Ellis and Cambrie Klatt added two solo blocks apiece to hold off the Brookings offense.
Watertown improves to 5-3 on the season and remain at home to host Sioux Falls Lincoln on Sept. 8.
