YANKTON, S.D. — The Watertown Arrows soccer teams split a pair of road matches against Yankton.
The Watertown boys soccer team moved to 6-0-1 on the season with a 2-0 victory over Yankton.
Xane Fligge and Roger Carranza provided the offense for the Arrows, each scoring a goal. Dawson Hartman and Matthew Bertsch were credited with the assists.
In net, goalkeeper Owen Muller recorded four saves to secure the clean sheet for Watertown.
On the girls’ side, Watertown (2-4-1) dropped a 1-0 decision to Yankton. Individual statistics were not immediately reported for the girls’ match.
Both the Watertown boys and girls soccer teams return home Tuesday, Sept. 8, to host Tea Area.
