MITCHELL, S.D. — Dakota Wesleyan University has named Ryder Johnson as a men’s basketball graduate assistant ahead of the 2026–27 season.
Johnson spent five seasons as an assistant at Castlewood (2020–21, 2022–26), helping lead the team to an SDHSAA Class B State Championship in 2025 and a runner-up finish in 2026. He also served as an assistant at Minnesota State Community and Technical College during the 2021–22 season.
Johnson has already assumed his coaching duties with the Tigers.
