WATERTOWN, S.D. — No. 5 Watertown dropped a four-set battle to No. 3 Sioux Falls Lincoln on Tuesday night, falling 19-25, 25-21, 13-25, 25-27.
Torrence Tipton led the Arrows attack with 16 kills, while Carighan Klatt added 11 kills and Reese Munger contributed nine kills along with four solo blocks. Cambrie Klatt also added two solo blocks at the net.
Setter Jaelyn Kettwig directed the offense with 35 assists, adding one solo block and two assisted blocks.
Defensively, Andi Olson paced Watertown with 25 digs. Hensley Hogue contributed 23 digs and two aces, while Maryn York recorded 18 digs and two aces.
Watertown (5-4) looks to bounce back on the road when it travels to Mitchell on Sept. 12.
