ABERDEEN, S.D. — The Watertown boys golf team wrapped up its season Tuesday with a fourth-place finish at the Class AA State Meet at Lee Park Golf Course.
The Arrows posted a two-day total of 609, trimming five strokes off their opening-round performance. Watertown carded a 302 on Tuesday following a 307 on Monday.
Sioux Falls Lincoln captured the team championship with a 581.
Max Stemwedel led the way individually for Watertown, securing a sixth-place finish. Stemwedel shot an opening-round 71 on Monday and followed with a 75 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 146.
Jonathan Lake earned a top-20 finish for the Arrows, tying for 18th place with a 151 (74-77).

Outside the top 30 for Watertown was Riley Randall with a 155 (81-74); Tyson Lawrence with a 160 (84-76); Gavin Neyens with a 167 (81-86); and Greyson Zebroski with a 172 (90-82).
The individual title came down to a playoff after O’Gorman’s Drew Simon and Sioux Falls Lincoln’s Tyson Blom finished tied at 2-under-par 140. Simon clinched the championship by making par on the first playoff hole.
