PIERRE, S.D. — The Watertown girls golf team secured a third-place finish Tuesday at the 2026 Pierre Invitational held at Hillsview Golf Club. The Arrows posted a team score of 347, finishing 46 strokes behind tournament champion Aberdeen Central, which carded a 301.
Gabi Olson led the way for the Arrows, narrowly missing the medalist podium with a fourth-place individual finish. Olson shot a 78 on the day. Aberdeen Central swept the top three individual spots, led by Olivia Braun, who earned the gold medal with a 1-under-par 70.
Other contributors for Watertown included Emma Olson, who finished with an 85, and Berkley Fligge, who carded an 89. Kreu Johnson turned in a 95, while Liv Sherman finished the round with a 117.
The Arrows will return to action Thursday at the Hub City Invitational, hosted at Moccasin Creek Country Club.
