WATERTOWN, S.D. — The Watertown boys tennis team dropped a pair of matches Tuesday during a home triangular at Highland Park, falling to Brandon Valley and Sioux Falls Christian.
In the opening match, Brandon Valley defeated the Arrows 7-2. Watertown’s Boston Butler provided a highlight for the home crowd, securing a victory in flight six singles over Travis Rowberry. Butler also teamed up with Tyson Lawrence in flight three doubles to earn a win against Brandon Valley’s Sanders Anshutz and Max Vincelli.
The Arrows struggled in their second matchup of the day, falling 9-0 to Sioux Falls Christian.
Watertown (7-5) continues its homestand Thursday with matches against Yankton and Brookings.
