Clark/Willow Lake Sweeps Team Titles at Hamlin Invitational

HAYTI, S.D. — The Clark/Willow Lake golf programs swept the team standings Thursday, securing first-place finishes for both the boys and girls squads at the Hamlin Invitational.

The Clark/Willow Lake boys posted a collective score of 244 to lead the field. Host Hamlin followed in second place with a 250, narrowly edging out Arlington’s 251. Castlewood finished fourth with a 253, while De Smet rounded out the top five with a score of 254.

In the girls’ division, Clark/Willow Lake carded a 249 to earn the top spot. Sioux Valley took second place with a 287, followed by Deubrook at 291 and De Smet at 301. Hamlin finished in fifth place with a team score of 319.

Seth Lesnar of Webster claimed the individual boys’ title, shooting a 74 to lead all competitors. Castlewood teammates took the next two spots, as Carver Horn finished second with an 80 and Davis Gales placed third with an 81.

Brynn Roehrich of Clark/Willow Lake dominated the girls’ field, finishing 1-over-par with a 73. Her teammate, Faith Roehrich, secured second place with an 86. Deubrook’s Ava Crooks also carded an 86, finishing third overall.
