ABERDEEN, S.D. — The Watertown Arrow girls golf team secured a fourth-place finish Thursday at the Hub City Invitational, posting a collective score of 365 at the Moccasin Creek Country Club. The Arrows finished 70 strokes behind the tournament champion and host, Aberdeen Central, which carded a winning 295.
Gabi Olson led the way for Watertown, earning seventh place individually after shooting a 78. Other contributors for the Arrows included Berkeley Fligge, who carded a 93, while Emma Olson and Kreu Johnson both finished with rounds of 97. Macie Stein shot a 107 and Liv Sherman followed with a 111.
Kyley Wirebaugh of Aberdeen Central took top individual honors, finishing the day with a 3-under-par 69.
The Arrows return to action May 7 for the Huron Invitational at the Broadland Creek Golf Course.
