SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Molly Stevens of Sioux Falls and Natalie Young of Pierre carded a 1-under-par two-day score of 139 to capture the overall championship at the South Dakota Golf Association Two-Woman Amateur Championships, which concluded Sunday at Willow Run Golf Course.
The tournament, which ran June 13-14, featured top amateur golfers from across the state competing across multiple divisions.
In the Masters division, the Rapid City duo of Lenna Jenner and Susan Mulz secured first place, finishing the two-day tournament with a total score of 154.
The Senior division title went to Betsy Dewit of Sioux Falls and Lisa Dorsey of Rapid City, who combined for a two-day score of 150 to top their leaderboard.
Local competitors Avery Palmquist and Gabi Olson of Watertown put together a strong performance in the overall championship field. The duo finished the weekend with a two-day total of 159, earning them a tie for 10th place.
