RAPID CITY, S.D. — Watertown Post 17 enters the 2026 Class A American Legion Baseball Tournament as the No. 10 seed and faces a tough opening matchup against top-seeded host Rapid City Post 22.
The two teams last met in late June, when Post 22 swept Watertown in a doubleheader in Rapid City, taking the first game 4-3 before securing a 12-2 victory in the nightcap.
First pitch for the tournament opener is scheduled for 7 p.m. MDT on July 28.
The tournament runs July 28 through Aug. 1 at Fitzgerald Stadium in Rapid City. Live coverage will be broadcast on the Hard Hats TV YouTube channel.
