Castlewood 48, Sisseton 16
Kamden Keszler delivered a dual-threat performance, throwing for 244 yards and four touchdowns while adding 95 rushing yards and a score to power Castlewood past Sisseton. Trevor Everson made the most of his catches for the Chargers, hauled in two receptions for 127 yards—both going for touchdowns. Carson Fischer led Sisseton in the loss, rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns.
Florence/Henry 34, Wilmot 28
Dawson Hlavacek rushed for four touchdowns to power Florence/Henry to victory over Wilmot. Hlavacek broke open scoring drives with touchdown runs of 49, 31, 19, and 7 yards. Wilmot mounted a late rally in the fourth quarter behind Bently Moser, who scored on touchdown runs of 52 and 3 yards, but the Wolves fell just short.
Hamlin 56, Garretson 21
Jonathan Leonardi and Boden Stevenson combined for a massive night on the ground to power Hamlin past Garretson. Leonardi ran for 254 yards and three touchdowns, while Stevenson added 199 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Stevenson also contributed through the air, passing for 100 yards as the Chargers amassed 453 total rushing yards. Garretson was led by Chase Arend, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown.
Waubay/Summit 26, Great Plains Lutheran 6
Zayne Strang rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns to spark Waubay/Summit to victory over Great Plains Lutheran. Strang broke the game open in the third quarter with touchdown runs of 70 and 3 yards. Evan Aker added to the Mustangs’ offense, completing 96 passing yards—including a 38-yard touchdown pass to McKoy Pereboom—and adding a 27-yard rushing score. Great Plains Lutheran avoided the shutout in the fourth quarter when Benjamin Prahl connected with Logan Bergan for a touchdown pass. Prahl led the Panthers with 144 passing yards and 39 rushing yards.
